• Operating mode of the swallower:
The closing of a free-tension switch produces the opening when a ticket is introduced by the client (the ticket may firstly be accepted).
The swallower has been developed for all the applications which require the use of a magnetic ticket conform to ISO standard.
The swallower reads a ticket and allows or not the closing of the switch in less than 1 sec.
The unit reads plastic cards or paper-ticket.
• The ticket reader is constituted by the following parts:
- A motor, controlled by an electronic card, swallows the ticket.
- 3 opto-electronic sensors indicate the ticket location.
- 1 ISO 2 standard magnetic reader.
- 1 12 V. DC supply.
- 1 management controller card with an INTEL 51 microprocessor basis.
- 1 management card for the display.

EROPARK
Ticket
reader
The ticket reader EROPARK has been developed and manufactured by ERO Industrie, which characteristics are an easy setting and a good reliability in time. The reading time is 1 sec.
All the mechanical parts are treated against corrosion.
• The reader unit:
It allows the reading of ISO encoded magnetic tickets, and manages the opening of the barrier depending on the validity of the ticket. or of the credit card (norm MPAP).
• The housing:
The ticket reader consists of a head and a foot.
The head contains all the electric equipment (reader unit, network card and I2C). The cover is totally removable in order to access without difficulty to all equipment during maintenance.
The foot allows all connections and includes an area to collect the swallowed tickets.
• The front face:
It indicates how to insert tickets.
A 16 digits 2 lines retro-lighted display assures the interface between man and machine.
